I had a secret relationship with my neighbor's son who is much younger than me and has learning disability (down syndrome).At first it was mostly about sex, but we began to like each other in every possible way.
A few days ago his mother (who is my friend) discovered what is going on. I was afraid at first, but she invited me and had a serious talk with me and his son. To my relief, she said that she is not angry that her son is in a relationship with me, and that the only thing which displeases her is that we hid our relationship in the first place. She was happy for us and encouraged us to move together, which we did today.
I don't care if he has learning disability. He is intelligent and responsible enough to have a serious relationship. And he doesn't care if I'm much older than him, I can be like a wife and a mother for him at the same time. I will help him to learn and improve his life. He certainly has much potential to grow.
