Maya and Alex
The rain tapped softly against the window as Maya looked up from her book. Alex smiled from across the room, the kind of smile that lingered long after it appeared. They had spent weeks circling each other with playful conversations and stolen glances, but tonight felt different. "You know," Alex said, stepping closer, "I've been looking for an excuse to hold your hand all evening." Maya laughed quietly and offered it without a word. Their fingers intertwined naturally, and the silence between them became more intimate than any conversation. When he brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear, she leaned in just enough for their foreheads to touch. Their first kiss was slow and tentative, filled with anticipation rather than urgency. Outside, the storm continued, but inside, time seemed to pause as they smiled against each other's lips, knowing this was only the beginning of something special.Comments for Maya and Alex
